Terms and conditions
Clear expectations are part of the service.
Effective: August 23, 2026. These Terms govern The Degree Agency website, Degree Dean content, forms, scheduling, and consulting or coaching services that incorporate them.
The Degree Agency is an independent education consulting and coaching company—not a college, university, degree-granting institution, accreditor, financial-aid provider, lender, law firm, or agent of an institution.
1. Nature of services
The Degree Agency provides independent educational consulting, research, planning, organizational support, and coaching. It does not control or bind any college, university, accreditor, course provider, testing organization, credential evaluator, financial-aid office, employer, or other third party.
2. Good-faith performance
The Degree Agency will perform the services expressly included in the selected package using good-faith and commercially reasonable efforts, based on information supplied by the client, information reasonably available at the time, published policies, professional judgment, and the package’s defined scope and duration.
Coaching, research, projections, and recommendations are a professional planning effort—not a guarantee of an academic, financial, admissions, transfer, graduation, career, or employment outcome. Execution also depends on the client’s accuracy, responsiveness, decisions, study time, finances, academic performance, and compliance with institutional requirements.
3. Accuracy of client information
Clients must provide complete, current, accurate, and legible information relevant to the engagement. The Degree Agency may rely on supplied information without independently verifying every item and is not responsible for errors or unsuitable recommendations caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, illegible, or withheld information. Materially different later information may require additional paid research or revision.
4. Unofficial and official transfer evaluations
Any Degree Agency credit assessment is an independent planning estimate—not an official transfer-credit evaluation. Only the receiving institution decides admission, credit acceptance and classification, application of credit to requirements, prior-learning credit, and graduation eligibility. An official evaluation may differ substantially from a preliminary assessment; that difference alone does not establish a failure to deliver the purchased consulting service.
5. Institutional and third-party changes
Independent institutions and providers may modify, suspend, discontinue, or reinterpret policies, programs, requirements, or services at any time, with or without notice. Changes may include:
- Admissions requirements
- Transfer-credit policies
- Degree and residency requirements
- Credit limits and course equivalencies
- Course availability and term dates
- Program formats, tuition, and fees
- Financial-aid rules
- Accreditation or approval status
- Alternative-credit and prior-learning policies
- Graduation requirements and program closures
The Degree Agency is not responsible for an independent third party’s decision, error, delay, policy change, closure, cancellation, loss of accreditation, denial of credit, technology failure, or failure to honor previously published information. When a material change affects an active client plan, the Degree Agency will use good-faith efforts to identify reasonable alternatives within the remaining scope and support period. Depending on package, timing, complexity, and required work, this may be addressed in an included session, a limited revision, a different recommendation, an additional paid session, or a separately priced engagement. A third-party change does not automatically create a right to a refund.
6. Offerings subject to change
The Degree Agency may add, modify, replace, pause, or discontinue packages, features, prices, payment plans, bonuses, methods, scheduling options, and availability. Changes will not remove services already expressly purchased and paid for under an accepted agreement unless the client agrees, performance becomes unlawful or impossible, a third-party change makes the original service impracticable, a comparable substitute is provided, or the agreement otherwise permits the change. The accepted agreement or order confirmation controls the purchased scope.
7. Estimates and no guarantee of outcomes
Timelines, costs, credit assessments, course sequences, degree plans, graduation dates, and savings calculations are estimates based on information and assumptions available when prepared. The Degree Agency does not guarantee:
- Admission to an institution
- Acceptance or application of transfer credit
- Credit for certifications or prior learning
- Eligibility for a particular program
- Completion by a particular date
- Tuition or total cost
- Course availability
- Financial-aid eligibility or employer reimbursement
- Graduation, licensure, or certification eligibility
- Employment, promotion, salary, or career advancement
Clients must confirm material requirements, costs, deadlines, and policies directly with the applicable institution or provider before enrolling, paying, purchasing courses, withdrawing, or making another material decision.
8. Degree 365
Degree 365 is a consulting program name and planning framework—not a college program, admission offer, or guaranteed completion date. A 365-day target may be appropriate only for qualified learners and depends on usable credit, official evaluations, current institutional policies, course availability, academic performance, administrative requirements, personal capacity, and successful completion of every requirement.
9. The 18-Month Bachelor’s-to-MBA Intensive
The Intensive is an accelerated planning and coaching service built around an ambitious 18-month target. It does not guarantee admission, either degree, two degrees within 18 months, a particular amount of transfer credit, continuous course access, financial aid, or a stated graduation date. Acceptance into the coaching service is not admission to an institution.
If the target becomes impracticable because of official evaluations, admissions decisions, prerequisites, course availability, institutional requirements, academic performance, funding, personal circumstances, or other factors, the Degree Agency may recommend a revised timeline or alternative strategy. A revised timeline alone does not constitute failure to deliver the purchased planning and coaching services.
10. Client responsibilities
The client remains responsible for all final decisions and actions, including:
- Select and independently verify the institution and program
- Review accreditation, recognition, licensure, and employer implications
- Submit applications, transcripts, and institutional documents
- Meet deadlines and register for courses
- Complete all coursework and examinations
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Pay tuition and third-party costs
- Confirm financial-aid eligibility directly
- Communicate with institutions and review their final decisions
- Protect account credentials and make final education, financial, and career decisions
Clients may not ask the Degree Agency to complete graded work, examinations, or misleading admissions materials, or submit another person’s work as their own.
11. Strategy sessions following material changes
A client may request a strategy session after a material institutional or provider change. A session is included only when the purchased package includes continuing or evaluation-review support, the request occurs during the active service period, and the work remains within package limits. Otherwise, an additional paid session, plan revision, upgrade, or new engagement may be offered.
12. Third-party costs and services
Unless expressly stated, fees do not include tuition, applications, transcripts, testing, alternative-credit courses, books, technology, credential evaluations, graduation, financial-aid, licensure, subscriptions, or other third-party costs. Identifying a third-party service does not guarantee its quality, availability, pricing, acceptance, or performance; clients should independently evaluate it.
13. Scope and expiration of services
Each package is limited to its stated services, institutions, documents, sessions, revisions, support period, and deliverables. Unused support does not continue indefinitely. Out-of-scope work may require an added fee or separate engagement, and client-caused delays do not automatically extend a service period.
14. Scheduling and participation
Clients must use the approved scheduling process and provide requested materials on time. The Degree Agency may establish reasonable cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, and no-show policies. Failure to attend, respond, supply records, complete agreed actions, or maintain pace can affect the usefulness of the service and any estimated timeline.
15. Educational and financial decision disclaimer
Tuition, aid, employer benefits, loans, taxes, and career information are provided for general planning. The Degree Agency does not provide legal, tax, investment, lending, or individualized financial-aid advice. Clients should consult the institution or an appropriately qualified professional before significant legal or financial decisions.
16. No professional or institutional relationship
Purchase does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, school-student, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship, and does not guarantee institutional advocacy. The Degree Agency may help prepare questions, but clients ordinarily communicate with institutions in their own names.
17. Testimonials and individual results
Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee the same credit outcome, savings, timeline, admission, graduation, or career result. Results vary by academic history, institutional rules, effort, requirements, availability, finances, and other circumstances.
18. Website information
Website content is general information and may not reflect the latest policy of every institution or provider. It should not be the sole basis for a material education or financial decision. Content, pricing, and descriptions may be corrected, updated, or removed prospectively.
19. Limitation regarding third-party decisions
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Degree Agency is not responsible for losses arising solely from an independent party’s decision, delay, error, policy change, closure, denial of admission or credit, cancellation, pricing change, accreditation action, or other conduct beyond reasonable control. Nothing excludes responsibility for the Degree Agency’s own fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
20. Good-faith resolution
Clients agree to report concerns promptly and allow a reasonable review. When appropriate and within scope, the Degree Agency may offer a correction, clarification, revised recommendation, replacement session, or other reasonable solution. The response depends on the facts, package, active support period, and applicable law.
21. Communications, email, texts, and AI calls
Submitting an inquiry authorizes a response about that request by email, live call, or individual text. Optional email marketing requires separate affirmative consent and does not authorize marketing texts or AI-voice calls.
When a person separately opts in to marketing texts and calls, the person provides prior express written consent for marketing texts and calls at the supplied number, including automated technology and artificial, prerecorded, or AI-generated voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message or data rates may apply. Consent may be revoked by any reasonable method, including replying STOP to a text or asking a caller to stop.
22. Payments, intellectual property, and acceptable use
Browsing and applying do not create a paid engagement. The applicable checkout or signed agreement controls payment, cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and nonpayment terms. The Degree Dean and Degree 365 brands, frameworks, content, templates, and designs are owned by or licensed to The Degree Agency. Clients may use purchased deliverables for personal planning but may not resell, publish, scrape, reverse engineer, use them to train a competing system, or commercially exploit them without written permission.
23. Acceptance, changes, and contact
By purchasing, enrolling, or using services, the client confirms review of the package description; understands included and excluded services; recognizes that institutional decisions and outcomes are not guaranteed; accepts responsibility for direct verification; and agrees to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, and applicable payment, cancellation, and client-agreement terms. These Terms may be updated prospectively. Questions or accessibility requests may be submitted through Contact.
